So this book is an excellent reference for those times when I kevim to project the salesman in me to make my programs work. There’s plenty of good ideas in this book but isn’t as magical as the autor think it is, in my opinion. Pretty good, plenty of tactics and things to consider if you’re looking to persuade some one or protect yourself from it. The use of the word “trick” in the title is unfortunate, because the book, with a few exceptions, is not a repository of tricks, but a pretty good analysis of successful communication.
