As always, this proposal is part of the songs from the texts that the Liturgy and the Word of God offer us. Each piece can be performed in different ways, depending on the capabilities and possibilities of choirs and individual performers.

The words are an intense profession of faith which amplifies the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed giving it a new force. From Psalmwhich celebrates the glorious priestly investiture of the Messianic King to Psalm 97, which celebrates the Lord as King forever and who leads his people with strength and splendor.

His Word has opened our hearts and our minds to the truth. I wanted frisima insert two traditional melodies: The encounter with God takes place in the intimacy of the heart as strenuous and demanding commitment to the service of the Church and the world, but it is always dictated by love “who creates everything.

Among the songs offered, are songs of the Ordinary of the Mass, as well as a hymn composed for the International Eucharistic Congress ofin which verses are summarized in the Eucharistic imagery drawn from Scripture and the Fathers of the Church. Next to the sung text, I wanted to include a translation so that everyone can vuta the richness of the words chosen by the Christian poets who composed those hymns and vitaa prayers.

These songs want to express the beauty of the encounter with the Lord and with His Word. The more prepared will be able to use them instead in their complete form, and even with the use of the orchestra. I hope that the journey of Lent can strengthen our soul and make it agile in the fight against sin and resourceful in doing good.

Only love for God and for others authentically fills panr heart of man with joy. Showing His panf every, creature sings the praises of God. The parable of the wedding invitation reminds us that God is in the world to participate in the banquet of God’s love, as well as the words of Jesus to Nicodemus, which emphasize the greatness of the Father. I offer it to all of you to share its beauty and share my joy.

It is a place of love and source of the Church’s life. The Lenten journey wants to prepare for the encounter with Christ crucified and risen through the purification of the heart and letting us grow in our capacity to love, leads us through the discovery of God’s mercy and forgiveness of his wealth and at the same time makes us discover the beauty of being the only church that shares the love of Christ. Today’s world is increasingly distracted by an unfair and improper use of things, from the frantic search for success, wealth, pleasure at all costs, all of which leave men after an apparent joy in the sadness and anguish.

Some texts are translations of Latin hymns; others are original texts that echo the great biblical and patristic texts on the Spirit and the Resurrection.

I hope some of them will be useful to renew in the hearts of each of us love for Mary and enhance the contemplative awe before the great mystery of the Virgin Mother, miracle of the grace of the Lord and of His infinite love for us. Advent singing has a special role because it supports the expectation of the Church giving wings to soar to the wonderful Lord who comes. The final song is a hymn of joy for the church, the bride of the Lord, who walks in the world, announcing the redemption of Christ.

This meeting is enough to fill your life, to fill the hearts of men so that there is no longer need for other goods to be happy. I wanted to publish this collection of songs during the Year for Priests inbut it was not possible. I hope these songs can help the prayers of all those who will perform them and they can grow in their esteem and love for the priestly vocation.

This new collection of songs, some of which revolve around Lenten themes, remind us of the demanding journey of Christian faith but joyful at the same time with the strength that comes from love for Christ and as the great saints teach us. In recent years, the Pope has given us a wonderful model of priestly life and above all has given many speeches and ideas for prayer and reflection on the priesthood of great beauty and importance.

In my nearly thirty years of priestly life, these texts have nurtured my spiritual life and have raised awareness of the beauty of the vocation.

In this album are collected 11 compositions by Marco Frisina. They are the result of the experience of friendship and prayer that for several years we have accomplished together in “prayer meetings” at the Roman Seminary, where we learned to appreciate more and more the joy of singing to the Lord.

It will be the beginning of an authentic New Evangelization, which will open the hearts of the world.

Some hymns have been translated, some can be sung with the same melody in both Latin and Italian. This collection of songs celebrates the Easter season and the Solemnity as composed and orchestrated by Marco Frisina. From the Eucharist flows the song of believers who celebrate the love of God and the fellowship of the brethren. Psalm 33 is a typical text that expresses the wonder and viya of the believer who sees the love of God himself as a gift of grace in the Eucharist. All the songs presented may also be listened to for personal meditation.

The fundamental vocation of every believer is to be an instrument of this love. Then we find some hymns, and one dedicated to Blessed John Paul II, true model of vjta shepherd, one dedicated to the fatherhood of a merciful God reminds us that the vocation of every priest at his mercy is called to witness to the love of God to men.

The Church in those days makes us sing the lyrics more beautifully and meaningfully, those theologically the most poignant and poetic, that have marked the faith of centuries of believers and summarizing our Christian culture.
